About The Program
The Goal
The goal of this group is to help children build confidence, strengthen independence, and develop strategies that feel realistic and sustainable—while also supporting parents in understanding and guiding their child more effectively.
Materials
To keep the program flexible and accessible, parents/guardians are responsible for providing materials for each session.
A short list will be provided ahead of time and will include simple, low-cost items commonly found at home or easily purchased.
Program Specifics

Ages: 8–12

Duration: 4 weekly sessions (2 hours each) + 1 Parent Night (Week 5)

Cost: $250 flat rate

What Sessions Look Like
Each session combines structured learning with interactive activities to keep children engaged and supported. This may include:

Practice using practical tools (e.g., planners, checklists)

Simple sensory-based activities to support focus and regulation
The goal is to make learning these skills feel approachable, practical, and even fun.
Parent Involvement
This program includes a dedicated Parent Night, where caregivers will receive:

A better understanding of executive functioning and ADHD

Practical strategies to support their child at home

Guidance on building routines and reducing daily challenges
Is This a Good Fit for My Child?
This group may be a great fit if your child:

Has been diagnosed with ADHD, or struggles with attention and focus

Has difficulty staying organized (e.g., losing items, messy backpack/desk)

Struggles to start or complete tasks without frequent reminders

Has trouble managing time or understanding how long things take

Becomes easily overwhelmed by schoolwork or daily routines

Experiences big emotions and has difficulty regulating them

Acts impulsively or has difficulty thinking before acting
This group is designed for children who would benefit from learning practical strategies in a supportive, small-group environment with peers who have similar challenges.
This Group May Not Be the Best Fit If:

Your child requires consistent one-on-one support to participate

Your child is not yet able to engage in a small group setting

More intensive behavioral or therapeutic support is needed
